Bayern Munich head coach Vincent Kompany has officially been discharged from the hospital and is now resting at home following his health scare at Sabener Strasse.

The 40-year-old Belgian strategist collapsed at the club’s training facility last Friday after dealing with a persistent viral infection. Comprehensive hospital examinations confirmed the cause as meningeal irritation—an inflammation of the protective membrane surrounding the brain and spinal cord—triggered by the virus.Vincent Kompany Discharged From Hospital & Recovering at Home
