Aston Villa have cleared a major hurdle in their pursuit of 31-year-old Portuguese defensive midfielder João Palhinha, locking in full agreement on personal terms.
Palhinha has officially informed Bayern Munich management of his desire to join Unai Emery’s squad, standing ready to fly to the UK once club-to-club agreement is finalized.
