The Nerazzurri have officially reached the summit of Italian football once again.

Inter Milan are the 2025–26 Serie A champions, clinching their 21st Scudetto with a clinical 2-0 victory over Parma at a rocking San Siro on Sunday, May 3, 2026.

CAMPIONI D’ITALIA! Inter Milan Secure 21st Scudetto Under Cristian Chivu

The Title-Clinching Night

Entering the match knowing a single point would be enough—following Napoli’s 0-0 draw with Como on Saturday—Inter left nothing to chance:

  • The Breakthrough: Marcus Thuram ignited the celebrations in first-half stoppage time, finishing coolly after a pinpoint through ball from Piotr Zieliński.
  • The Seal: Henrikh Mkhitaryan ensured the party started early, doubling the lead in the 80th minute to make the result certain.
  • The Math: With 82 points and three matches remaining, Inter now hold an unassailable 12-point lead over second-placed Napoli.

The Chivu Revolution

The most remarkable story of the season is the man on the touchline. Cristian Chivu, the former Inter treble-winning defender, has won the league title in his very first season as a senior first-team manager.

After replacing Simone Inzaghi in June 2025, Chivu faced skepticism, but he has masterfully transitioned the squad, maintaining a dominant 3-5-2 system while integrating younger talents like Samuele Inácio and Pio Esposito.

His “brave” appointment by President Beppe Marotta has been fully vindicated, as he brings the Second Star ever closer for the club.

Double Dreams?

The celebrations in Milan may only be the beginning. Inter have also reached the Coppa Italia Final, where they will face Como on May 20. Chivu now has the opportunity to crown his debut season with a domestic double, further cementing his place in Inter folklore.

With the 21st title secured and Chivu proving his tactical mettle, do you think this Inter side is balanced enough to dominate Serie A for years to come, or will the aging core in midfield eventually catch up to them?
