Former U-20 international Gift Atulewa has tragically passed away due to health complications related to high blood pressure.
Atulewa, who previously represented clubs like Warri Wolves and Bayelsa United, was a key member of the 2005 U-20 national team.
His untimely demise comes as a shock to many who admired his skills and potential.
Sadly, Atulewa joins a growing list of talented Nigerian footballers who have passed away too soon.
This loss highlights the importance of addressing health issues among athletes and providing adequate medical care.
Sadly, he is the third member of 2005 Under 20 team to pass away, after Olufemi Adebayo and Isaac Promise.
