London, UK – In a development that could see another Chelsea youngster head to the Bundesliga, RB Leipzig have reportedly inquired about winger Tyrique George during recent club-to-club talks for Xavi Simons.
While the two transfers are not part of the same deal, the inquiry highlights Leipzig’s strong interest in the English talent.
Sources close to the negotiations reveal that George has attracted significant interest from the Bundesliga, with Leipzig particularly keen on the 19-year-old.
George has reportedly made it known that he is prepared to leave Chelsea due to limited opportunities in the first-team squad, which has become even more crowded with the club’s aggressive transfer activity this summer.
