Saudi Pro League giants Al Hilal have submitted an official club-to-club proposal to Arsenal for 25-year-old Brazilian international winger Gabriel Martinelli.

Negotiations are ongoing between both club hierarchies as Arsenal push for a £60 million fee. If completed at that price point, it would represent a historic record exit for the North London club, surpassing the previous record sales of Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain (£35m) and Nicolas Anelka (€35m).
Key Transaction Context & Player Stance
- Player Green Light: Having previously rejected a £45 million approach from Turkish champions Galatasaray, Martinelli has now opened the door to joining Al Hilal and is receptive to personal term negotiations.
- Primary Winger Target: Al Hilal have placed Martinelli at the absolute top of their attacking wishlist, ahead of alternative options Pedro Neto and Francisco Conceição.
- Arsenal Replacement Plans: With Martinelli’s potential exit progressing, Mikel Arteta’s side are expected to intensify their search for a replacement forward ahead of the deadline.
