Paris Saint-Germain and AS Monaco are entering the final stretches of negotiations for 24-year-old French international attacking midfielder Maghnes Akliouche.

After intense back-and-forth negotiations across July—which saw initial proposals up to €45m pushed back—both Ligue 1 clubs are finalizing the deal structure, with the transfer fee expected to settle around €50 million including performance bonuses.
Key Transfer Highlights
- Player Green Light: Akliouche has maintained a clear preference for joining Luis Enrique’s side, agreeing to a five-year contract until June 2031.
- Liverpool Approach Rebuffed: Premier League giants Liverpool made an official inquiry to Monaco for the winger, but Akliouche informed the Reds of his decision to prioritize Paris Saint-Germain.
- Squad Rebalancing: Akliouche’s arrival comes as PSG free up space in their attacking midfield hierarchy following Kang-in Lee’s €40m departure to Atletico Madrid.
The formal “here we go” confirmation is expected once the final payment terms and bonus add-ons are ratified between the two management groups.
