In a stunning January move, Galatasaray have reached a full agreement with Napoli for the transfer of Dutch winger Noa Lang. After days of intense negotiations, the “Here We Go” has finally arrived for the 26-year-old to join the Turkish giants.
Lang’s time in Naples comes to an end after just six months, as the forward struggled to adapt to life under Antonio Conte.
The Financial Package
- The Formula: A six-month loan deal until June 2026.
- The Loan Fee: Galatasaray will pay Napoli €2 million immediately.
- The Buy Clause: The deal includes a €30 million non-mandatory buy option.
- The Salary: Galatasaray will cover the player’s full wages for the remainder of the season. Notably, Lang has already agreed to a permanent contract until 2030 that will see his salary increase significantly if the Turkish club triggers the purchase option in June.
The Impact
Galatasaray view Lang as the final piece of their attacking puzzle as they push for the Süper Lig title and compete in the Champions League.
His arrival adds much-needed flair and unpredictability to the left wing, following the precedent set by Victor Osimhen’s successful move from Naples to Istanbul last summer.
Lang is expected to fly to Istanbul on Thursday to undergo his medical and sign the official documents.
