Bryan Mbeumo has reportedly made a crucial decision regarding his future, opting to prioritize a transfer to Manchester United this summer.
Despite attracting interest from three other Premier League clubs, the Brentford forward has made it clear that a move to Old Trafford is his preferred destination, as reported by @David_Ornstein.
This development signals a significant step forward for Manchester United in their pursuit of the 25-year-old Cameroonian international.
Mbeumo’s current contract with Brentford runs until June 2026, with the club holding an option for an additional year.
After a stellar season where he scored 20 Premier League goals, Brentford are expected to demand a significant transfer fee, reportedly in the region of £50-60 million.
Negotiations between Manchester United and Brentford are now due to commence soon. Brentford manager Thomas Frank has previously indicated that while the club is resigned to potentially losing their star forward, it would only be for a “nice, nice amount” that would be “impossible to replace him one for one.”
