MUNICH — Bayern Munich have reached a verbal agreement to sign one of South America’s most highly-regarded defensive prospects, Virgilio Olaya, from Ecuadorian side SD Aucas.
The “Here We Go” confirmation from Fabrizio Romano marks a significant win for Bayern’s scouting department, which has been tracking the 17-year-old center-back for months.

Due to FIFA regulations regarding the international transfer of minors, Olaya cannot officially move to Europe until he turns 18.
