Atalanta have officially reached an agreement to appoint Ivan Jurić as their new head coach, with all details now finalized.
The Croatian tactician has signed a contract that will keep him at the Gewiss Stadium until June 2027.

Jurić’s appointment follows the departure of long-serving and highly successful manager Gian Piero Gasperini, who is widely expected to be announced as the new head coach of AS Roma today.
Atalanta moved swiftly to secure Gasperini’s successor, turning to a coach who shares a strong philosophical and tactical connection with their former boss.
Jurić notably played under Gasperini and served as his assistant earlier in his career.
Despite a challenging 2024-25 season that saw him sacked by Roma after a brief stint and then unable to prevent Southampton’s relegation from the Premier League, Atalanta’s hierarchy has shown faith in Jurić’s ability to lead their Champions League-bound side.
