Riyadh, Saudi Arabia – Saudi Pro League giants Al-Hilal are stepping up their pursuit of Liverpool striker Darwin Núñez, with reports indicating that the club has presented their project and plan to the player in recent days.
This significant step signals Al-Hilal’s serious intent to secure the Uruguayan international, who has been heavily linked with a departure from Anfield this summer.
Discussions are now set to follow between Al-Hilal, the player’s representatives, and Liverpool to clarify the financial details of a potential deal.
Al-Hilal’s new head coach, Simone Inzaghi, has reportedly made Núñez a top priority, having personally requested the club to sign the forward.
