The transfer of Angel Gomes to Olympique Marseille is reportedly entering its final stages, with the formal steps of his move expected to be resolved in the upcoming days.

The English midfielder is set to undergo medical tests before officially signing a three-year deal with the Ligue 1 club.
Gomes, 24, recently confirmed his departure from Lille at the end of his contract, making him a free agent this summer.
Despite strong interest from several Premier League clubs, including Tottenham and West Ham, as well as teams in Germany and Italy, Gomes has opted to remain in France and join Marseille.
His decision is believed to have been influenced by Marseille’s project under manager Roberto De Zerbi, and crucially, their qualification for next season’s UEFA Champions League.
Gomes, who has made 134 appearances for Lille over four seasons, will be a significant addition to Marseille’s midfield.
This move will see the former Manchester United academy graduate link up with former teammate Mason Greenwood at the Stade Vélodrome.
With all signs pointing to a swift conclusion, an official announcement from Olympique Marseille is anticipated in the coming days.
