Chelsea Football Club has officially confirmed that Cole Palmer will don the prestigious No. 10 shirt from the upcoming 2025/26 season, starting with the FIFA Club World Cup later this month.

Palmer, who has worn the No. 20 shirt since his arrival from Manchester City in September 2023, has been rewarded for his phenomenal performances, which saw him become Chelsea’s standout player.
He played a pivotal role in the Blues’ successful campaign, helping them secure a spot in the Champions League and winning the Conference League.
The No. 10 shirt was previously worn by Mykhailo Mudryk. Palmer is expected to make his debut in the No. 10 jersey when Chelsea faces Los Angeles FC in Atlanta on June 16th in their Club World Cup opener.
This move underscores Palmer’s growing importance and influence within the squad, as he steps into a number famously associated with Chelsea legends like Eden Hazard, Juan Mata, and Joe Cole.
Fans can now purchase their “Palmer 10” 2025/26 shirts.
