Victor Osimhen Agrees Personal Terms with Galatasaray, Napoli Talks Ongoing

Istanbul, Turkey – Star striker Victor Osimhen has reportedly agreed personal terms with Galatasaray, committing to a contract until June 2028, and has once again given his “yes” to joining the Turkish giants.

This significant development puts the ball firmly in Galatasaray and Napoli’s court to finalize a transfer fee.

Galatasaray is pushing to secure the Nigerian international’s signature on a permanent basis following a highly successful loan spell in Istanbul during the 2024/25 season, where he registered an impressive 37 goals and 8 assists from 41 appearances.

This stellar form has evidently convinced Galatasaray to make a strong push for a full transfer.

The Süper Lig champions have reportedly submitted an initial bid of €55 million to Napoli for Osimhen.

However, Napoli is currently holding out for more, likely closer to the €75 million release clause in Osimhen’s contract, which is valid for clubs outside of Serie A this summer.

This situation is made more complex by earlier reports of Saudi Pro League side Al Hilal’s strong interest.

Al Hilal had been prepared to match Osimhen’s €75 million release clause and reportedly offered a staggering salary of up to €50 million per year.

However, Osimhen himself previously decided against the move to Saudi Arabia, making his preference for Galatasaray clear.

With personal terms agreed and Osimhen keen on a permanent return to Galatasaray, the focus now shifts entirely to the negotiations between the two clubs.

All parties are confident of receiving the final green light soon, indicating that a resolution to this high-profile transfer saga could be on the horizon.
