UEFA President Aleksander Čeferin has asserted that the revamped Champions League format has been met with widespread approval, dismissing the initial criticisms as coming from a vocal minority.

Speaking to Delo, Čeferin stated, “I only heard positive answers! Initially, focus was on those who criticise, these people appear when there is a change.”
He went on to claim, “About 99% of people are satisfied with the renewed Champions League.”
Ceferin’s comments suggest that UEFA is confident in the new format, which is set to introduce significant changes to the competition.
He acknowledges that there will always be dissenting voices when changes are implemented, but insists that the overwhelming majority of stakeholders are happy with the direction the Champions League is taking.
