Taiwo Awoniyi capped off a memorable day for Nottingham Forest, scoring his first Premier League goal of the year in their 3-0 victory over Wolverhampton Wanderers.

The Nigerian striker, who came on as a substitute in the 82nd minute, found the back of the net in the 90th minute, completing a dominant performance by Forest.
Gibbs-White and Chris Wood had already put the hosts in a commanding position before Awoniyi added the finishing touch.
Following his goal, Awoniyi celebrated with a touching tribute, covering his face with his shinpads, which were inscribed with the Bible verse James 1:17: “Every good and perfect gift is from above.”
This poignant gesture showcased Awoniyi’s deep faith and his appreciation for the blessings in his life.
The victory over Wolves will provide a significant boost to Nottingham Forest’s Premier League campaign.
