MUNICH, GERMANY – FC Bayern Munich is reportedly prepared to part ways with French right-back Sacha Boey in the upcoming January transfer window, less than a year after his high-profile €30 million move from Galatasaray.

The 25-year-old has struggled to make a sustained impact at the Allianz Arena due to fitness issues and fierce competition for his position, leading to an early exit being anticipated.
Despite the club not planning major incoming activity in January, they are open to negotiating an exit for Boey, who has seen his starting role diminish following the return to fitness of Josip Stanisic and the versatility of Konrad Laimer.
Having made only nine Bundesliga appearances this season, the player is seeking a move to secure consistent playing time.
Bayern’s willingness to sell stems from their desire to recoup a significant portion of the large fee they paid in January 2024.
Interest from across Europe is already heating up. Premier League side Crystal Palace is strongly linked, with reports suggesting they view Boey as a potential replacement for Daniel Muñoz.
Clubs in Italy, including Juventus (who were interested last summer), and potentially his former club Galatasaray are also being mentioned as possible destinations.
With several clubs now calling the German champions, it is highly expected that Boey will secure a move away from the Bundesliga by the end of January.
