Éric Sékou Chelle has been officially appointed as the 37th head coach of the Nigerian national team, the Super Eagles.
The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) made the announcement today in Abuja.
Chelle, a former Mali national team coach, brings a wealth of experience to the role.
He is tasked with leading the Super Eagles back to the pinnacle of African football and guiding them towards qualification for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
This appointment marks a new chapter for the Super Eagles as they aim to reclaim their position as one of the top footballing nations on the continent.
