LONDON, England – Arsenal’s Noni Madueke is expected to be out of action for approximately two months after sustaining a knee injury during the first half of the team’s 1-1 draw against Manchester City on Sunday.

The injury forced the 23-year-old winger to be substituted at halftime by Bukayo Saka.
While the exact nature of the injury has not been officially disclosed, sources indicate that Madueke has fortunately avoided a more serious anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) tear.
However, the recovery timeline is a significant blow to both the player and the club.
Madueke’s impressive start to the season had made him a vital part of manager Mikel Arteta’s squad, especially with other key players also sidelined with injuries.
His absence will be felt as Arsenal navigates a demanding fixture list in the coming weeks.
