Liverpool are reportedly on the verge of sealing the deal for Bournemouth’s highly-rated left-back, Milos Kerkez.

The Reds are prepared to hold one more round of crucial talks to push the transfer over the line, with an official announcement expected very soon.
The agreement between Bournemouth and Liverpool is currently being finalized, following reports last week that personal terms had already been agreed with the Hungarian international.
Kerkez is said to be extremely keen on the move to Anfield and “can’t wait” to join the club, believing it’s a fantastic opportunity to be part of an ambitious squad.
This transfer, if completed, would mark Liverpool’s second major defensive reinforcement of the summer, following the official confirmation of Jeremie Frimpong’s arrival from Bayer Leverkusen.
is viewed as a significant long-term investment for the left-back position, offering competition and a potential successor to Andy Robertson, whose contract is set to expire in June 2026.
Bournemouth are reportedly holding out for a fee close to £45 million for Kerkez, who joined them from AZ Alkmaar in July 2023 and quickly established himself as a key player.
He provided 2 goals and 6 assists in 41 appearances across all competitions for the Cherries last season.
While Liverpool is also heavily involved in negotiations for Florian Wirtz, their pursuit of Kerkez is advancing rapidly.
The deal is said to be “absolutely on,” and with the player’s clear desire to join, all signs point to a “here we go” announcement in the very near future.
