Manchester United have reached an agreement with veteran goalkeeper Tom Heaton on a new contract, extending his stay at the club until June 2026.
The decision, which was shared with and approved by prospective coaching staff member Rúben Amorim, is expected to be officially announced soon.
Heaton, 38, has served as United’s third-choice goalkeeper since rejoining the club in 2021. Despite limited first-team appearances, his experience and leadership are highly valued within the squad.
The extension signals the club’s desire for continuity in their goalkeeping department and highlights Heaton’s ongoing contribution, both on and off the pitch.
