Giorgi Mamardashvili has firmly stated his intention to join Liverpool next season, dismissing any speculation of another loan move.

The highly-rated Georgian goalkeeper confirmed his commitment to the Anfield club, where he is set to officially arrive this summer after a pre-agreed deal with Valencia.
“I’m not considering another loan move. I will spend next season at Liverpool,” Mamardashvili told @Geo__team.
This statement clarifies his immediate future, as there had been some ambiguity surrounding his integration into the Liverpool squad, especially with Alisson Becker firmly established as the Reds’ first-choice goalkeeper.
Mamardashvili further emphasized his dedication to his new challenge, stating, “I’ll go to Liverpool and give my all, just like I did at Valencia. I’ll work hard every single day, training with Alisson will help me.”
This indicates his readiness to compete for a place and learn from one of the world’s best goalkeepers.
Liverpool reached an agreement to sign Mamardashvili from Valencia for a fee reported to be around £25 million (plus add-ons) last August.
The deal stipulated that he would remain on loan with Valencia for the 2024-25 season, making this summer his official arrival at Anfield.
His impressive performances for Valencia in La Liga and for the Georgian national team at Euro 2024 have only heightened anticipation for his arrival.
