LIVERPOOL, UK – Liverpool reportedly holds a high opinion of Paris Saint-Germain forward Bradley Barcola, considering him a “world-class player,” but a move for the Frenchman is not a priority at this stage of the summer transfer window.

According to sources close to the club, there have been no official bids or talks for Barcola, as Liverpool’s primary focus remains on a potential deal for Newcastle striker Alexander Isak.
The situation is further complicated by Barcola’s standing at PSG. The Ligue 1 champions are determined to keep the 22-year-old, with president Nasser Al-Khelaifi, sporting director Luis Campos, and manager Luis Enrique all aligned in their desire to offer him a new contract.
Barcola, who had an excellent season contributing to PSG’s historic Champions League win, is seen as a key part of the club’s long-term future.
While Liverpool has a long-standing interest in Barcola, they are currently embroiled in a tense negotiation with Newcastle for Isak, a deal that is proving to be complex and costly.
With the transfer window drawing to a close, a potential move for Barcola would likely only materialize if a deal for Isak falls through and if PSG’s stance on selling him changes.
Any transfer for the French international is expected to command a fee well over €100 million, making it a difficult deal to complete.
