The club-to-club agreement has been finalized for a transfer fee of €22 million, including add-ons.
Crucially, personal terms have also been agreed upon with the 26-year-old center-back, meaning Bijol is now set to join #LUFC.

He is expected to undergo his medical tests very soon to officially complete the move.

Bijol has been a key target for Leeds United as they look to strengthen their squad following their promotion back to the Premier League.

His impressive performances for Udinese in Serie A, where he has been a consistent presence, have made him a highly sought-after defender.

He played 34 matches in Serie A last season and is a regular for the Slovenian national team.

Reports indicate that Leeds had an initial bid of €15 million rejected, but their persistence and an increased offer of €22 million (including bonuses) were enough to convince Udinese to part ways with their valued asset.

Udinese had reportedly been holding out for a fee of no less than €20 million.

For Leeds, Bijol’s arrival will significantly bolster their defensive options, bringing physicality, aerial prowess, and experience at a high level. With manager Daniel Farke keen to build a robust squad for the Premier League challenge, Bijol is expected to be an immediate starter in the new season.

This transfer marks a clear statement of intent from Leeds United in the summer window.
