Recent reports confirm that the Italian giants have advanced in talks regarding personal terms with the 24-year-old Dutch forward, who is eager for a return to Serie A to revitalize his career.

The move is being heavily pushed by Roma’s head coach, Gian Piero Gasperini. Having taken the reins at the Stadio Olimpico earlier this year, Gasperini is reportedly seeking a striker with Zirkzee’s unique profile—technical fluidity and the ability to link play—to spearhead his tactical system.
