Chelsea have officially triggered the recall clause for Mamadou Sarr, cutting short his loan spell at sister-club Strasbourg.
The 20-year-old Senegalese international is expected in London today to finalize his integration into Liam Rosenior’s first-team squad.
The decision marks a significant tactical shift on Deadline Day, with Chelsea choosing to fast-track Sarr’s development rather than pursuing external targets like Jérémy Jacquet, who now looks set for Liverpool.
