Galatasaray have reportedly sent contract proposals to two major European football stars: Bayern Munich winger Leroy Sané and Napoli striker Victor Osimhen.
Negotiations are ongoing for both players as the Turkish champions aim to make a significant statement in the summer transfer window.
The pursuit of Leroy Sané remains an open case. The German international’s contract with Bayern Munich is set to expire this summer, and he has reportedly rejected Bayern’s latest offer for an extension.
Galatasaray has capitalized on this, making a written offer, reportedly including a net salary of over €10 million per year.
While Bayern still hopes to retain him, and other Premier League clubs have shown interest, Galatasaray’s Champions League participation could be a key factor in their favor.
Meanwhile, Galatasaray is also pushing for Victor Osimhen, who has not yet accepted a lucrative proposal from Saudi Pro League side Al Hilal.
Osimhen, who spent the 2024/25 season on loan at Galatasaray, was hugely successful, contributing 31 goal contributions in 53 appearances under Jose Mourinho.
Despite Al Hilal’s offer, reportedly worth around €26 million per season, Osimhen is said to prefer remaining in Europe and playing in the Champions League.
Galatasaray is attempting to leverage this desire by reportedly offering a significant contract, potentially up to €15 million per year, to make his loan move permanent, though Napoli’s €75 million release clause remains a hurdle.
Galatasaray’s aggressive approach for both Sané and Osimhen signals their ambition to build a squad capable of competing at the highest level in Europe.
The coming weeks will be crucial as both players weigh their options amidst intense interest from various clubs.
