London, UK / Istanbul, Turkey – Despite various reports circulating, Fenerbahçe are currently not in concrete talks with Arsenal for Leandro Trossard, and Arsenal have not received any formal approach or bid from the Turkish club for the Belgian winger so far.

This contradicts some recent media speculation, particularly from Turkish sources, which suggested that Fenerbahçe had made a €15 million offer or even agreed personal terms with Trossard.
While it’s understood that Fenerbahçe, under Jose Mourinho, has an interest in bolstering their attack and Trossard (who will turn 31 next season) is a player they have monitored, direct negotiations between the clubs have not yet materialized.
Trossard’s contract with Arsenal runs until June 2026, with the club holding an option to extend for another year. Recent reports indicated that Arsenal were open to selling him for around €20 million (£17 million), especially with their pursuit of new attacking wide options like Noni Madueke and potentially Rodrygo.
Trossard himself is said to be seeking a financially attractive move and potentially more regular first-team football, leading to a recent change in his representation to an agency with strong ties in Turkish football.
However, as of now, Arsenal’s position remains clear: no formal bid has been received. This means any “preliminary agreements” on personal terms would be speculative without club-to-club negotiations being in an advanced stage.
While Fenerbahçe are actively reshaping their squad under Mourinho, including the recent loan signing of Jhon Durán and ongoing talks for Marco Asensio, a move for Trossard still requires a formal approach and a satisfactory offer to Arsenal.
The Gunners are focused on their own transfer business, including the potential signing of Viktor Gyökeres, and are unlikely to sanction Trossard’s departure unless their valuation is met and a replacement is secured.
