WEST LONDON — Brentford have continued their tradition of identifying top-tier European talent, officially confirming the signing of 18-year-old striker Kaye Furo from Club Brugge.

The deal is reported to be worth €10m (£8.7m) plus performance-related add-ons. Furo, a highly-rated Belgium Under-21 international, has signed a five-and-a-half-year contract at the Gtech Community Stadium, tying him to the club until June 2031.
A New Powerhouse in the Bees’ Attack
Standing at 6ft 3in (1.90m), Furo is described as a “speed and power” forward. Despite his age, he has already gained significant experience this season, featuring in both the Belgian Pro League and the UEFA Champions League (including a notable substitute appearance against Arsenal last month).
Brentford head coach Keith Andrews expressed his excitement about the arrival:
“Kaye is someone we have tracked for a while. His attributes are ones that I like and feel we can develop. I have no doubt he will be a big player for us.”
The “Brugge Connection”
Furo follows a successful path from West Flanders to West London, mirroring the move of Igor Thiago, who joined Brentford from Club Brugge in 2024.
The young striker is expected to be integrated immediately into the first-team squad, providing physical presence and a clinical edge as the Bees look to consolidate their position in the top half of the table.
