DORTMUND, GERMANY – Borussia Dortmund has reached a full agreement with Wolverhampton Wanderers for the transfer of striker Fabio Silva, with the deal now at a definitive “here we go!” stage.

The Portuguese forward is scheduled to undergo his medical examination, the final step before signing a long-term contract with the German club.
The deal is reported to be worth a total package of over €25 million, which includes a fixed fee of around €22.5 million plus an additional €4 million in add-ons.
Borussia Dortmund successfully beat out several other clubs for his signature, including those in Italy, to secure a player they have been monitoring for some time.
Silva will sign a five-year contract with Borussia Dortmund, signaling the club’s long-term commitment to the 23-year-old.
After failing to consistently impress during his time at Wolves and in subsequent loan spells, he found his form at Las Palmas, where his performances in La Liga caught the attention of several top clubs.
For Borussia Dortmund, the signing of Silva is a strategic move to add a promising young striker to their squad.
For Wolves, the transfer provides a significant financial return on a player who had fallen out of favor at the club, and the sell-on clause ensures they will benefit from any future success he has.
