Former Liverpool and Barcelona playmaker Philippe Coutinho has officially agreed terms to join Brazilian side Santos FC on a short-term deal through the conclusion of the 2026 season.

The 34-year-old midfielder joins Vila Belmiro as a free agent after mutually terminating his contract with boyhood club Vasco da Gama earlier this year. He flies in for his medical examinations on Friday, September 11.
