London, UK – Arsenal have successfully agreed a deal to sign highly-rated 17-year-old striker Will Wright from Salford City, beating out strong competition from several other top clubs, including Liverpool.
Documents are now being prepared to finalize the transfer for the promising young talent.
The Gunners have reportedly offered a package of around £250,000 (€295,000) plus add-ons for Wright, significantly outbidding Liverpool, who were initially considered front-runners for his signature with an offer reported to be around £100,000.

The acquisition of Wright aligns with Arsenal’s strategy under academy manager Per Mertesacker to actively recruit top young talent for their renowned Hale End academy.
