COMO, ITALY – In a swift and complex transfer, Como has successfully secured the services of striker Álvaro Morata, with a deal agreed upon by all parties.

The transfer marks a significant coup for the newly promoted Serie A side, which has been the forward’s desired destination.
The final details of the multi-club transaction are being sorted, with a fee close to €5 million reportedly being paid to Galatasaray as compensation to terminate Morata’s loan.
Como will then sign the Spanish international from his parent club, AC Milan, on a loan deal with an obligation to buy.
Morata’s preference for a move to Como was the driving force behind the transfer, and he is now awaiting authorization for his medical and travel to Italy.
The 32-year-old striker’s arrival is expected to be a major boost for Como as they prepare for their return to Serie A.
