AC Milan are reportedly in the final stages of a deal to sign André Luiz Santos Dias, the highly-rated 19-year-old midfielder from Corinthians.

The move, which has been labeled as a “top priority” for the Rossoneri’s future, is expected to cost the Italian giants a fee in the region of €12m to €13m, with potential add-ons pushing the total package even higher.

Born in 2006, André has emerged as one of the most exciting young talents in Brazil. Primarily a defensive midfielder, his composure on the ball and tactical maturity have drawn comparisons to some of the great Brazilian pivots of the past.

Despite his young age, he has already established himself as a key figure in the Corinthians first team, making over 20 senior appearances and scoring four goals—including a crucial winner against São Bernardo just weeks ago.

Strategic Investment for Milan

The negotiations, which were first broken by ESPN Brasil and subsequently confirmed by transfer experts like Fabrizio Romano, are said to be in the “advanced stages.”

Personal terms with the player are nearly finalized, with reports suggesting André is even prepared to waive his 30% share of the transfer fee to facilitate the move to Europe.

If the deal is completed, André is expected to remain in Brazil until June 2026, allowing him to finish the current season with Timão before joining Milan’s pre-season camp.

This acquisition continues Milan’s strategy of scouting the South American market for elite young talent before their market value skyrockets.
