LONDON, UK – Tottenham Hotspur manager Thomas Frank has publicly pleaded for patience from the club’s board and fanbase, emphatically stating that turning the club’s fortunes around is “NOT a quick fix.”

The Dane’s comments come amid mounting pressure following a poor run of form, including a recent disappointing 3-0 defeat to Nottingham Forest.
Frank, who took over at Spurs in June 2025, stressed that consistency and time are essential ingredients for success in his project.
Speaking after the loss, he said, “I can’t see why not. I think it’s pretty evident that if no one gets the time, no one can turn this around. This is not a quick fix.” While admitting the performance was “very bad,” he emphasized that rapid transformation is unrealistic, adding, “No one will want to hear about that, it’s just reality.”
The former Brentford manager is known for his calm demeanor, but admitted to feeling a “hurricane inside” due to the frustrating results.
His philosophy at his previous club was built on tactical pragmatism, long-term stability, and the gradual implementation of his system.
By publicly highlighting the need for time, Frank is directly challenging the club’s reputation for managerial instability, signaling that a commitment to his long-term vision is non-negotiable for progress.
