Istanbul, Turkey – Nigerian superstar Victor Osimhen is set to land in Istanbul today (Wednesday), with all transfer documents between Galatasaray and Napoli now counter-signed, paving the way for his permanent return to the Turkish champions.

The prolific striker is scheduled to undergo his medical examination tomorrow, on Thursday.
The highly anticipated move, which was sealed with a “here we go!” earlier, sees Galatasaray pay a total package of €75 million to Napoli.
This includes an upfront payment of €40 million, with the remaining €35 million to be paid in one year. Napoli will also receive 10% on future profit from any subsequent sale of Osimhen, along with a goals-based bonus.
A significant clause in the agreement prevents Victor Osimhen from being sold to any Italian club for the next two years, a term reportedly insisted upon by Napoli.
Osimhen’s arrival is expected to be met with immense excitement from Galatasaray fans, following his sensational loan spell last season where he scored an incredible 37 goals and provided 8 assists in 41 appearances, leading the team to a historic league and cup double.
His decision to make the move permanent, despite interest from other major European clubs, has further endeared him to the Yellow-Reds faithful.
His medical on Thursday will be the final hurdle before Galatasaray officially unveils their record signing, potentially during their friendly match against Lazio this Saturday at RAMS Park.
