Crystal Palace have officially completed the signing of goalkeeper Walter Benítez on a free transfer from PSV Eindhoven.
The Argentine shot-stopper will join the Eagles as their new third-choice goalkeeper.

Benítez, 32, had left PSV Eindhoven after his contract expired at the end of June.
He has reportedly given his green light to the move and will travel with the Crystal Palace squad for the upcoming FIFA Club World Cup.
The experienced goalkeeper, who made 134 official appearances for PSV across three seasons, including Champions League matches, brings a wealth of European experience to Selhurst Park.
While he’s expected to provide backup to first-choice Dean Henderson, Crystal Palace manager Oliver Glasner is known to encourage competition among his goalkeepers.
This signing addresses Palace’s need for an experienced third-choice goalkeeper, especially after Matt Turner’s loan spell concluded, with Turner now reportedly set for a move to Olympique Lyon.
Remi Matthews has also recently extended his contract with Palace and is expected to remain with the club.
Benítez’s arrival marks a shrewd piece of business for Crystal Palace, acquiring a seasoned international goalkeeper without a transfer fee as they prepare for a busy season, including their participation in the Europa League.
