Manchester City have officially announced the completion of the signing of Algerian international left-back Rayan Aït-Nouri (23) from Wolverhampton Wanderers.

The deal is worth an initial £31 million, which could rise to £36.3 million with add-ons.
Aït-Nouri has put pen to paper on a five-year contract, keeping him at the Etihad Stadium until the summer of 2030.
His arrival marks a significant defensive reinforcement for Pep Guardiola’s squad and makes him City’s first major summer signing.
The 23-year-old, who will turn 24 this week, joins City in time to be part of their FIFA Club World Cup squad, with the tournament kicking off later this month.
He has been a standout performer for Wolves since joining them in 2020 (initially on loan before a permanent move in 2021), making 157 appearances and showcasing his attacking prowess and defensive capabilities.
Last season, he contributed 4 goals and 7 assists in 37 Premier League appearances.
Aït-Nouri expressed his excitement to the club’s official website, stating, “I am incredibly happy and honoured to have joined Manchester City. City are one of the biggest clubs in the world and the chance to play for the club is a dream come true. I am also excited about working with and learning from Pep and his coaching team and getting to train and play alongside such a world class group of players.”
This transfer signals City’s clear intent to strengthen key positions as they aim to continue their dominance in English and European football.
